Webology banner/Digital Footprint picture

When looking for a photo to describe the "digital footprint", we decided on this banner from Webologize.com. We chose this footprint because it shows the many websites that help create digital footprints - YouTube, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and more - it's one of the most accurate depictions of a digital footprint you can think of.

Digital Artifacts - We're all over the place.

When searching for some digital artifacts on our digital footprints, we thought the best way to go would be to start with a Wikipedia entry, which provides the basics on what a digital footprint is and how the phrase came to be.

Following that, we found an interactive game on Discovery Channel's website, where each of us measured our digital footprint - we both scored the same, and were surprised to learn that each of us - a teen and a mom - have a relatively small digital footprint!
